I've spent over 18 rewarding years working in Irish disability services. I'm a strong believer that every person we support deserves to live their very best life, and I'm a passionate advocate for that. My work is about supporting services to find practical ways to turn that belief into an everyday reality.

I started in frontline social care, working directly with the people we support and their families. I went on to manage residential and day services for both children and adults, and most recently worked as a Project Manager with the HSE, leading projects that turned national policy into practical change on the ground.

In 2026 I set up Martina Canna Consultancy so I could focus fully on this work, sitting alongside services and helping them get it right for the people who matter most.
